Hey! I’m still wondering why Chiara gets wigs with silver tips/highlights while Gabriella doesn’t :(

I was really hoping we’d finally see a blue ponytail in a show, years after the test they did for Elizabeth Walker on the NCL Breakaway 1.0, which never made it to the stage.

But it looks like Gabriella is sticking with the blonde hairpiece (or maybe it’s her own hair—I’m not sure what she uses to play Howard).

Anyway, I still love what they’ve done with Chiara’s wigs; it’s so cool to see!

Two main differences:

- Chiara has a wig for most queens. Gabriella wears her own hair for most (including Howard), which necessarily limits the hair design options and any potential color dyeing etc.

- It’s also likely a stylistic choice. Teal highlights in blonde hair is generally going to read as a very different stylistic choice than silver in brunette hair. It’s likely that they feel highlights wouldn’t give off the right “vibe” or style for, say, Gabriella!Aragon but that silver does for Chiara!Aragon.

I’ll also note that Thalia has wigs for every queen so far, but because it’s a bright ginger wig orange highlights simply don’t work.

Six Australia, I know it's likely you're only giving us one one alternate costume variation per queen this time around (though until debuts happen, I'll continue to manifest), you've hinted at colored-tipped Howard ponies, proved it for one swing, and I'll continue to manifest this for the remaining swings until I'm proven otherwise. If this happens I'll forgive only one costume variation:

Super excited to see Loren, Chelsea, Chiara (in BLACK???), and Cristina return alongside our (funny enough) six new Australia queens!!! (Especially Cristina, we’ll finally get to see her debut the other queens!!)

I know everyone’s been saying this but I just know the costume situation is gonna be real interesting this time around. Very excited to see everyone in the updated costumes and hairstyles (including some shiny new alt costume variations, perhaps? 👀).

23-24 Six has been blessing us with some wild casts. 😭

@lightleckrereins thinks NCL did it at one point. It’s sort of an inbetween of normal UK Parr (curved base but taller spikes) and Cleves (normally straight base).

this was supposed to be an easy supply run. supposed to was always the operative run when it came to any town these days. there were more dead than there were living. lucy and her team had split up into teams. she'd been separated by her partner by a small, but still formidable horde. as she made her way through the building, her knife brandished in front of her, fingers holding tight to the hilt, as she cleared the rooms, taking what she could and putting it in her backpack. figuring she'd cleared everywhere, she recklessly followed the sound of banging and groaning, as if she were one of the dead until she came to a doorway. standing under the threshold her crystalline gaze fell upon a woman. "dangerous to be alone these days," lucy commented offhandedly when she was called a guardian angel, accompanying it with a wry chuckle. "i'm always ready, are you?" this could turn bad really quickly, because lucy had no idea if she was going to end up fighting a human and the dead too.

At any point in this hellscape, Thalia had known she could die. She thought she’d accepted it by now, with each close scrape and near death experience it just became more of a reality. Yet as the hoard of Walkers threatened to break down the only barrier between her and them, she was terrified. “Oh all the ways to go out—” She grumbled to herself, cursing under her breath as she frantically looked around for anything to push in front to give her time to look for an escape. Until she saw someone appear in the doorway opposite her, very much not a walker. “My own guardian angel eh,” She laughed, nodding behind her, back pressed against the splintering doors. “There’s at least fifteen of them, you ready?”

Izzy Formby-Jackson is the current swing in the 2024-25 UK tour production. As of October 4th 2024, she has debuted 4 roles: Boleyn, Seymour, Howard, and Parr. Previously, Izzy covered Boleyn/Seymour/Howard in the final Bliss cruise production.

Thalia Smith is a swing in the current Australia tour and wears the orange alt costume. As of October 4th 2024, she has debuted 4 roles: Aragon, Boleyn, Seymour, and Parr. Thalia has previously performed in several touring productions as a swing or ensemble member, including Mamma Mia!, Frozen, and Beauty and the Beast.
